Our team provides a wide range of on-site and office based reporting. By working closely with you, we design mitigation programmes appropriate to the importance of the archaeological remains, helping to minimise impact on budgets and schedules while meeting regulatory requirements.
We maximise recording efficiency using our digital data capture system, which integrates field data from tablets and GPS/total station with office-based analysis, archiving, and reporting. Our experience in community projects also allows us to include public engagement activities where required.

Case Study
The five-year project at Hungate was the largest developer-led archaeological excavation in York and one of the biggest in the UK. Funded by Hungate (York) Regeneration Ltd (HYRL), a joint venture between Lend Lease and Evans Property Group, the project created a new Hungate neighbourhood. Throughout the project, we worked closely with them to meet planning requirements on time and within budget. We also integrated community involvement, contributing to the cultural sustainability of the development.
Hungate is an exemplary project, demonstrating how archaeological mitigation can deliver both regulatory compliance and added value. The project provided community, outreach, educational and public benefits, engaging people across all levels of society. We provided a wide variety of activities such as:
