Analysis and Reporting
We provide analysis and reporting services for post-excavation study of site assemblages and the stratigraphic record to produce assessments, updated project designs and final reports
Our analysis and reporting services support projects by documenting, interpreting, and sharing the results of archaeological investigations. They ensure that data from archaeological sites are properly analysed and communicated, with client approval, to stakeholders such as national and local agencies, researchers, and the public.
Using data from our fieldwork and specialist teams, we provide an integrated multidisciplinary analysis of deposits, features, structures, and artefacts. This helps us understand a site, its inhabitants, and how it developed over time.
Our detailed reports include research objectives, methodologies, results of specialist analyses, interpretations and conclusions. The level of analysis and the format of outputs are proportionate to the significance of the findings. Results can be shared in a range of formats, including assessments, updated project designs, planning submissions, final published reports, or more popular accounts.
We can also include public outreach to share research findings as part of our services. This may include educational programmes, public lectures, museum exhibitions, and online resources to engage the wider community.
Archaeological analysis and reporting are essential for advancing our understanding of the past, preserving cultural heritage, and sharing the results of archaeological work. They bridge the gap between fieldwork and sharing archaeological knowledge with wider audiences.
