Specialist Services
Our specialist services include palaeoenvironmental and also geoarchaeological analysis to understand past economies and environments. We undertake conservation work to investigate and secure the preservation of finds, as well as general analysis and reporting of all kinds of archaeological work.
Our geoarchaeologists, palaeoenvironmental archaeologists, zooarchaeologists, and artefacts specialists can analyse deposits, finds and samples and present the results in a range of high-quality reports. We also provide illustration as single-image or 3D models.
Our conservation team has worked on projects located across the globe, including the Barangaroo Boat in Australia and the Iron-age Chariot Burial from Yorkshire, as well as our own famous finds like the Coppergate timbers.
Some clients select from our specialist services, while others use a wide range. If your project requires a specialism that we cannot fulfil in-house, we have an extensive network of independent freelance archaeologists we can call on to suit your needs.
Paleoenvironmental

Our palaeoenvironmental services examine microfossil and macrofossil remains to establish the landscape evolution of a site as well as the human impact on that landscape.

Conservation

Our team is an industry leader in conserving maritime and waterlogged materials. We also have extensive experience with organic materials.
